Iron Man
A delicious performance from Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man/Tony Stark is complemented by some energetic and stylish direction from Jon Favreau and some fabulously detailed special effects. If it devolves towards the end, it is only because it is lacking a truly engaging enemy for Iron Man, thanks to some sequel-minded scripting.
